    Hi All

I’ve been asked to replicate a Bardahl lola racing car from years ago as a restoration job.

However I am struggling find some logos. The problem I am having is that the car is so old all the companies have changed their logos to more modern ones.

    The ones I need are

    ‘Bardahl Lola’
‘Prestone’ – I think this is some kind of an additives company
‘AAA’ I think this is stands for american automobile…………
‘Holley’ these are a carburetter company

Please don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind paying for the logo’s.

my original plan was to find samples of them on the web and then get vectorwise to vectorise them but I can’t find them anywhere even to send them to andrew.

any help would be gratefully received and like i said I don’t mind paying. The car is going on display at a motor show this monday coming so time is tight.

    many thanks

    stuart

thanks George. I’ve found all those too but unfortunately they’re no good.

they’re the updated version of what i want!

This is the problem I’m facing, I was hoping some car enthusiasts who have been in this job a while may have them on file from years ago. Or someone has done a similar job to that i am doing now.

    Thanks for trying anyway george

Can anyone think of anywhere i can find pictures of classic racing cars and hopefully stumble accross these logos?

    thanks

There are a couple on here http://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/Bridgehampton-1966-09-18-photo.html

What sort of Lola is it? knowing that would help quite a lot.

I’d call these people, you never know, may be worth a try http://www.classictransfers.co.uk/index.html

Its a lola T70 Spyder. I didn’t think it’d be a problem but even finding pictures of anything to do with it is proving very difficult.

I’ve got some very dodgy photos of how the car should look in front of me so I reckon the only thing i can do is to sit down and redraw everything!

Stuart, numbers 8 and 30 on the page I linked to should be waht you’re looking for. I’ll see if I can dig out some more info later.

Thanks for that. Number 8 is the exact car that we are replicating. Its turning out to be one of those jobs…………

At least now you can see what I am trying to recreate. All the logos are years old and no longer exist!
