    Good day folks.
I need to print 3000x2000mm banner and make a wooden frame for it so it can stand in a conference room for an event.
I haven’t done similar thing, so asking for guidance on this.
    Have you done something similar?
I’m I going in the right direction with this?
Please comment on the wooden design frame and its functionality.

    Cheers!

Take a look at the Pegasus stand from Ultima Displays.

I don’t think they go that big, but can make 2500x2500mm. The perk being you can buy the hard ware and ‘rent’ it out, and charge on the print.

Why not go for a freestanding fabric frame.

Does it have to be wood?

I’ve made custom frames from tubes & clamps before (eg: http://www.themetalstore.co.uk ), quick & strong with a more professional look in my opinion than wood.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Much better than my initial plan. 😉

James, your freestanding fabric frame, where do I buy this from? Or do you make it from scratch?

i was going to suggest James when i started reading this.
I was asking James about these just recently, not the flat ones but the tall curved / wave ones. look great and a bit different to the norm.
