Hi guys i have a VP300, i normally print small banners for my customers, however i get hundreds of requests for much larger ones.

Is a banner welder a good product or am i better buying a bigger printer. Obviously i know it will take more time but i have just bought an embroidery machine so really dont have the spare cash for another couple of months

    Thanks in advance

I have borrowed a Leister Uniplan… so far we cannot get a very good result after few days.

I would say the product takes time to learn and master, however others here have given it a good review.

One thing that you need to know is that once it is welded it is welded, you dont get a second chance like you do with tape.

Joining banners, it will look ugly after you done it i recon

99% of the banners i do will have their hems sewn as its faster and neater than a welder, but if for joining two pieces together then welding maybe considered, but if the joint runs through the print you could end up with a lot of ruined banner.

If your applying vinyl graphics to the banner then this may not be an issue.

Just get some one else to print the bigger banners for you.
