HI there Paul im not sure where you would be able to get a proper punch today but for future i have just brought one from hanolex which is http://www.eyelets.co.uk and they came next day. To get you out of a whole you can buy something that uses a hammer and a die. These are mostly used for repairing tarps so you could get one at a camping or tent place somewhere like go out doors.

Try ringing a local sign company… we’ve lent ours to neighbouring companies when they’ve been stuck. And borrowed theirs when we ran out by mistake. 😉
