Banner Printing Problems
Morning All, Just wondering if any of you can shed some light im printing on a jetster 46" basically a rockhopper 2 ive got half way down the roll of the 500gsm banner halfway through prints it just keeps stopping and freezing when i switch machine of and back on again it says undefined paper??It hasnt come out of track past the sensors and it only doesn it with this banner material ?????????

I’m running a Valuejet 1604 and got the same problem recently.
I can’t explain the freezing but when the sensor reads the media after restarting it has to be on unprinted media to get the width right. So you have to forward the media slightly to bypass the printed section where it stopped.

check dust hasn’t got on to the sensors & that the banner isn’t raising up as it unrolls if it does this the sensor looses contactKev
