Banner design tool for integration on my website
Posted by Iain George on 31 March 2020 at 12:52Hope we are keeping well and not going stir crazy yet.
I am hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction. I am looking to intergrate into my website some kind of basic online design service for banners and roller banners. I have tried google but all i find is banner designs for websites or website builders.
If anyone has a link for me that would be great.#staysafe

Not sure what machine you are using to print, but if its HP then you get the online software free and is tethered to your machine serial number etc.

I have seen this but there are hardly any tutorials and it is not easy to follow. I don’t want to link it into the site without knowing how it will look as a preview. I can set up a backend mock up but it still doesn’t feel right and seems very cluncky with no instructions for the end user, my customer.

You just answered a question I’d had in the back of my head for a few days Rob.

looks good but difficult to set in place. No tutorials and no videos. No explination just click and hope. The videos show the end product but need a degree in computing to set it up.

Getting started with the suite of design tools is really not difficult. The first step is to go to http://www.printos.com and get your account created. This requires the input of a qualifying printer serial number (all HP Latex, designjet, Scitex qualify).
Once the account has been created, navigate to the Integration page in the help system (see attached). There are two basic approaches for connecting the HP Applications Center content to your web site:
– Basic External Link
– Full IntegrationThere a total of 17 modules in Applications Center, broken into three disciplines
– Decor (6 applications)
– Signage (10 applications)
– Retail (1 application)Users are able to enable only those applications that are of interest, or all of them.
I am based in the States, and would be pleased to assist as possible.

Thank you for your offer Paul. I am trying to get just banners and roller banners working at the moment. The issues I am having are there is an option to add my artwork and templates but it only seem to be available if I have customers to set templates for. Obviously I want new customers to access templates as well. Maybe I could be allowed to leave my email address and we can communicate that way, but am not sure if this is allowed. If someone in Admin let me know first before I break any rules.

Perhaps we can arrange a remote session on this. Please feel free to reach out to me via email and I will set it up.
