attn: Lorraine Clinch, Chinese Restuarant idea.
As I have still to upgrade my membership to be able to access certain area, I could not help but notice a post about ideas for a chinese restuarant in the Design help area. Heres my bit..
How about the Chinese Kanji symbol for “fortune” as in my jpeg? Fonts used to play about with are “Chow Mein” “Chow Fun” and “Chinese Takeaway”.
Just some ideas, a little stereo typical, but nonetheless..
As I am posting a file to swap I hope this is alright mr moderator.. :lol1:

Thanks for that, I rather like the middle one.
Funnily enough, the restaurant owner does want 3 symbols put on the board (sorry, forgot to say earlier) and one is the same.
I’ll put them all up-maybe you will know what the others say! (I would take a guess now at Fortune House Restaurant :lol1: )
Maybe one of the mods can link this to the other tread?

Yeah, I wanted to put some symbols on my design for Lorraine
but couldn’t find any.
I know that it is of utmost importance to have EXACT characters and meanings!
Even if you have to have a translator or something.
You don’t want to put something rude on a sign!
(only if it’s on purpose)
