    Oh, dear!

I thought you have at least scans of labels!!

As these look like they’ve come off a website it looks like they’ll have to be ‘vectorised’ in Signlab or similar to get a decent result.

Doing the Photoshop method will not help much with pictures THIS low in resolution going up so large…there’s just nothing to start with!!

I’ve uploaded this to show you that the originals are waaaay too bad to do a ‘photoshop’ on as they are heavily JPG compressed & lacking in basic detail.

Looks like the old PRINT / SCAN / REBUILD is in order!!

Found this one amongst my files but unfortunately it is probably the easiest of the lot to digitise. Will have another look for the rest.

    Dawn,

Here’s Pro-trax. I don’t know what size it is but you should be able to scale it to whatever you want.

Are you doing the work for Pro-trax themselves, or for one of their happy customers?

Now, to sound like a really hopeless individual, how do I ‘vectorise’ items?

    Where are you situated Dawn?

If you’re not far away, and fancy calling round, I could give you the quick demo.

Dawn – It sounds like you need to learn some basics about how computers deals with images – Start by doing a google search on Raster v Vector graphics which will lead to an understanding about the differences -and why only Vector graphics can be used for cut vinyl.

Where’s that? I only know of the cold, wet and windy Skegness. Are they far apart. 😀

Seriously, I’m near Market Harborough, so not that close. Well, the offer is good if you want to make the trip, or are passing the area for some other reason and want to call in.

Not sure if you want an easier way…

    http://www.24hourartwrok.com

will vectorize almost anything for 12 dollars US

They will take awful gifs and do an ok job. Sometimes requires cleaning up. If you have the company’s ok to vectoize the logo you can get it done fast (in 24 hours in fact 🙂 ) they will also make embroidery files for cheap as well.
