    Hello,

Using Artcut to Cut basic fonts and text for Motorcycle numbers, names, web addresses etc etc but they never seem to be the right size when cut.

I have tried adjusting the fornt sizes using the adjustments and saying how high I want each letter and to keep it retained but when cut they always seem smaller. Is there any On screen Ruler or anything so I can check the size before i cut? When I asked for a number 150mm last night it cut something nearer 100mm.

To be honest I dont really like the program! Seems a bit quircky but I dont know how to get my hands on anything else.

    Hi Tark,
Artcut is crap, draw everything in coreldraw to size, convert to curves and export as eps. Open artcut and import (Not open) the eps and the size should remain the same.

    Cheers John

I dont use Artcut program – Winpcsign 2005 came with my P-Cut machine and cuts to exact font size required and is cheap to buy – but rather than waste vinyl during cutting, keep all (scrap) backing paper from used vinyl rolls – replace blade with pen and plot lettering out onto backing paper- this should allow you to tweak size of lettering til its correct.

    Good luck
