In my mind Arial Black is bold enough, but I’ve got a customer wanting it bold. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark Mark Shipley replied 21 years, 1 month ago 2 Members · 2 Replies 2 Replies John Childs Member 15 November 2004 at 12:39 Unless somebody knows different, I would say not. It’s either Arial Bold or its Arial Black. One or the other. What I would do is to show the client samples of the two and explain the difference. Anyway, if you bolden up Arial black in a graphics programme it’s going to be unreadable. Mark Shipley Member 15 November 2004 at 12:53 Hi John, Thanks for the reply. I’ve had a play with Arial Black, set it to 100 point and put a 1mm scalable outline around the text. It does beef it up a bit. I’ll try cutting some of the text to see how it looks.
