Are you having problems logging in?
Hi all
Just thought I would make this post in case anyone is having problems logging in.
I have recently had a few e-mails from regulars saying they are asked to login even though they show online.
Since I have received these e-mails I have noticed the same people have now made posts. So obviously
It the problem has resolved itself. My guess is that the problem arises due to the change over with the servers.
I maybe wrong, but i’m guessing it is to do with your page refreshing. You visit the home page and the site sees you but when you click on other pages it is finding cached pages from the previous server. So when you click to answer the old server doesn’t have you logged in. im no expert but this is my guess until I look into it further.
What I would suggest doing is press “ctrl & F5” keys or just “F5” key this will refresh the cache on that one page your on.
If you know how to find cache pages within your search for files and folders options then I would recommend you try that. When the cache files come up just delete them all.
If the problem persists let me know. So far everyone seems to be ok now. But like I said before there will probably be some small teething problems with the switch to the new server. Now thats said,
If you are not a regular, or you are a new comer that has not received site registration authorisation. Then you will have to check your name still exists in the members list.
If your name does not exists then you will have had your registration deleted due to insufficient
details being submitted. If this was the case, then you should have received an e-mail telling you this.
If you did not receive this e-mail then the chances are the e-mail you submitted was bogus also or there is a problem your e-mail address. If any of the above is the case, then simply re-register but this time making sure your details are accurate.
All details submitted now are run through a national search service to see if they are legitimate.I apologise for the inconvenience caused
