I have just heard of a company near the city charging £80 for full colour vinyls on an astra sized van. this price includes fitting too.

Is this not a bit too cheap, if it’s not then I must be way off with my prices. 🙁

Would be good to hear folks opinion on this.

do you know the size of the images and if it was just the images that were in the price?

They are quoting £80 to cover full sides and back of van.

forget it Adele… i wouldn’t fit them for that price let alone design, print, laminate and fit. 😕

either the sign maker is a mug and desperate or your customer is blatantly lying about his quote. try not to let it bug you and just move on…

Thanks for that. That is good to know. My source is reliable so the company must be desperate.

I certainly don’t want to reduce my prices even when business is slow!

I Agree with Rob -n move on – when customers tell me about quotes like this I laugh and say ‘bite their hand off’ or ‘come back when you want the job done properly’ More often than not they come back which shows they are at it or know the job is going to be of dubious quality.

I used to worry about my pricing but whats the point in doing the job for nothing folk who want something for nothing wont come back with a bigger better order they will come back wanting the same gain – something for nothing!
