    Is bacon a vegetable?

    If it is, then yes.

About 25% of the people who attended my International Letterheads on Mars meet in 2002 WERE vegetarians.
When planning the menu, I had to be sure to accomodate them.

I was born with sharp teeth in front to eat meat with. Cant say I have met many people with their molars in the front for chomping on grass.
So I guess the answer for me is NO!

I eat meat now …. I was a veggie for approx 12 years …. made a descision at 14 that I didnt want to eat any meat or fish and so didn’t. Then towards the end of my pregnancy Steve bought a Mc D burger home, left it on the side and when he turned back there was only half left … I couldnt stop myself ….. and since then I have continued to eat meat. I really only eat chicken, turkey, steak mince and McDonlads Burgers :lol1:

Steve eats all meats, he is a piggy :lol1:

Red meat for me every time.

Chicken is a meat substitute for vegetarians.

Fish is a snack, not a proper meal.

The meat board have a slogan here ‘Feed the man meat’

I like to think of myself as a man so yes I eat everything (except pork chops). Interestingly my wife prefers I eat chicken 😮 Perhaps she is trying to tell me something! 🙄

If god did not want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat?

Used to work for UPS and had several deliveries to slaughter houses, first time i walked into a room with a skinned cow in it, still steaming second time the bloke that signed for delivery was covered head to toe in blood. final straw was a turkey farm 2 weeks before xmas – this turned me veggy for 10 years, i now just pick on the chickens and fish. I would love to have a bacon sandwich or a nice gammon steak or sticky chinese ribs but i can’t bring myself to do it.
They do say that if slaughter houses had glass walls there would be a lot more vegetarians!
And no i dont class myself as a vegetarian now.

I was the same as Martin …. seeing it raw and the smell and the sight of peeps who work there …… my boyfriend worked in a slaughter house for a few weeks …… after that all I could picture in my head when I saw meat was the way it looked raw etc …. 😕 That probably had a lot to do with turning me veggie.

But now Im back to being a meat eater 😛 I sometimes still get the “ewwwwww I can’t eat that” factor :lol1:

My father worked on a shearing team when he was a teenager, and when the farmers paid the team in sheep instead of money, my fathers job was to kill the animal. He cried for ages before he could do it.

He still feels that if anyone has to kill their own animal for food, they would end up eating lettuce.

Since dads near death experience on 2001, he actually cries if he sees a truck taking cattle to slaughter.

I have no problem with people not eating meat, I just don’t like it when they try and make me feel guilty for doing so.

    Cheers

Does a burger at McDonalds count as meat?
I had some nice roast beef and roast potatoes at a “british” pub last night for supper. Now that is some nice meat! Add a couple pints of Boddingtons and I’m a happy man. 😀

Used to work in a slaughter house for about 12 years.
Killed thousands of sheep used to kill between 70 to360 cattle a day + 200 to 1200 sheep depending on the time of year an we used to skin em by hand and the sheep with your fists and knuckles,
If we were meant to be vegitarians we would be cows or sheep in my opinion

Like a nice steak teaches you how to pick a good one. Meat nowadays doesn’t hang long enough before its eaten.

    Goop.
