  • Are ink prices due to come down due to weak euro?

Posted by Martin Cole on 16 July 2012 at 12:10

I could be wrong..but wasn’t a main reason we had a large hyke in ink prices a couple of years ago due to the strength of the euro

Now, with the pound (sterling) at a 4 year high against the euro, will we see prices tumbling??

I fear I may know the the answer, but would be interested to hear comments from people in the know?

Would be interested in the answer too martin, its acceptable to put them up using this as the excuse, but who will be the first to say, "OK we can afford to give you them at this price now" doubt it! 😉

Knowing the way things generally work, it wouldn’t surprise me if they went up.
Already getting emails regarding deliveries in the any of the Olympic areas I.e. the village will incur a £25 pound surcharge per parcel as ups are the only ones allowed
    To enter.

Pretty sure it’s from China Simon.
Which gives it even more reason to fall as the euro is at its lowest against the chinese yuan in over a decade.
