    Morning all,
we fitted about 14m2 of APA S/881FT acid etch vinyl yesterday, it is the first time we have used that vinyl, and also the first time we have used air release vinyl. My concern is, there seemed to be loads of squeegee marks on the vinyl. We used a gold squeegee with a teflon sleeve, they do not seem to be marks in the vinyl, but in the glue. Will these disappear over time, or will these panels need to be replaced? Anyone who has used the vinyl or something similar would love to hear your experiences. I don’t like leaving jobs like that, and if it is our error in the fitting technique, I would like to rectify as soon as possible.
    Cheers

    Dan

Dan ive not used that brand but id say it will disappear – tell the client its should start to go in the next week or so and give yourself some time

I use graphityp and other etch air release and only minimal marks if any but I use a felt out of preference

thanks John, fingers crossed then! We did use a felt squeegee on the first one and had similar marks, so swapped back to our favorite the gold.
