Anyone used or know a bit about this vinyl?

been out a while now, looks like 3M Vikuiti film which is basically a rear projection film. 3M arent the only ones doing it, I bought ours from a Canadian company about 4 years ago which was a fraction of the cost of the 3M stuff.

First time I’ve seen this. Yea way behind the times, I know but I’m at the stage where I’m comfortable wuth that ! 😀

Huge potential I’d think. What would be a ball park figure for a business to have this sort of thing installed, designed, deployed etc?

to be fair, ide imagine the prices have come down a bit by now.
per metre, i think i was quoted at sign UK on the 3M stand about £1000 per metre. I sourced it from Canada i think for about £100 & £180 per metre.
i say two prices as they had two types. one they classed as on par with 3M vikuiti and the other which just looked like glass etch when non-illuminated.

you could cut it and apply it pretty much the same as vinyl. but i used it as a rectangle. which is how it was sent.

if i am correct, it came in much larger roll sizes than the vikuiti which was important to me at the time.

Doesn’t normal etch work at all for this?
I suppose not if they are selling this at such a high price.
