mate that stuff came with my vinyl cutter its good for learning to use the cutter and designing but its noo good for real applications as it stretches easily and is low quality

yes…i know….i just bought a small length to try it…..it is the hardest vinyl to weed that i have ever used, when feeding the roll onto the cutter it bubbles up along the length edge….it is a nightmare to handle and weed but the one thing i can say it applies very well

How long before the Chinese muscle in on the vinyl market though with some decent products?

Who sells it guys. Never heard of it…. 😕

I know the chinese are producing some pretty competative reflective material now. I know a chinese supplier that will supply as little as a metre from china via air freight.

Shane….I found the guy that sells it on ebay….I was given a 3m roll to try out at first and then i bought 14 x 10m x 610mm rolls in 14 different colours including silver and gold for $250. I have used it on temporary signs in shopping centres where they were having sales and have had no complaints. I didn’t want to use it on permanent jobs because i know i would be asking for trouble. It is pretty thick vinyl just very hard to weed small cutouts…(very time consuming)…but for what i used it for it was perfect….The supplier states that the manufacturer rates it for 3 years outdoors. It looks and feels the part but i can’t seem to find their website to confirm how long it will last.

    😮 $1.80 a meter .

I’d be cautous using it outdoors for 3 years. Yellow and red will be a good test, facing the aussie sun.

Can’t expect much for that price I suppose. No wonder it is thick. I assume it is a monomeric

Oracal 641 is the cheapest true 3 year I know of locally, and sells for $4.25. Easy to weed tho.

A sample piece comes with a Pcut if you buy from China. Its not very good stuff at all! Thats partly why I couldn’t get mine to cut correctly when i got it. Bought some propper vinyl from a well known UK supplier and never had any trouble. Until you put it next to a good 7-10 year vinyl you might think its not too bad.
