  • Anyone recommend a low-cost roll laminator?

Need a laminator that will go up to A0 or even B0+. DO NOT want to spend silly money on a high-end bureau machine, more like a couple of grand or less.

We need to laminate epson 9000 inkjet prints and maybe mount onto foamex etc.

Sending prints out to be laminated is a nightmare, £15-£25 plus postage per A0 print and ‘your guess is as good as mine’ as to when you get it back.

Seen an Excelam new for £2400 which might do the job.

Anyone seen any at this price range that they can recommend?

We’ve been running a 1000mm Excelam machine for a few years now for encapsulating and mounting A1 and A0 prints, we’ve done some quite high volume runs with it and it has run very well, with no breakdowns.
The main thing is to look after the heat rollers, giving them a good wipe down during roll changes and letting them cool slowly will make a lot of difference to the life of them.

    Hope this helps,

    Mark.
