anyone know what type of vinyl this is?
Hi guys
I have been approached by a motorcycle race team to do some graphics
on their bike etc.They have given my a small sample of the vinyl they want me to use
It is about 3 maybe 4 times as thick as normal vinyl and comes on a
brown waxed paper backing.any ideas ?
Also where can I get metalic coloured vinyl, I need to match a paint colour
as close as poss to colour coordinate a spare wheel cover.Cheers

I keep meaning to get in touch with the importer in Ireland but have noy had the time – so I’d be interested in any info if you do make contact !
Re your metallic vinyl you can try Hexis or KPMF who both do a decentish range, but don’t hold your breath for an exact match 😉

I will try and contact them in the comming week and i will post
my findings on the boardsAs for colour maching the spare wheel cover, I might try and talk the
customer into having a contrasting colour instead.Colour maching was my stupid idea in the first place and having looked
at the vehicle again it’s got some fancy ‘Flip-Flop’ greenish-blueish
paint that will be impossible to match.Any attempt to match it will be a feeble one. 😕
Oh well, I talked my way into it, I’ll just have to talk myself out again. (chat.)

I believe Avery has a shade-shifter vinyl.
Can you get it over there?
I’d go dig out my chart, but I just finished lettering a barn and I’m tired!
