  • Anyone have problems running Clarity ?

    Morning everyone.

We’re seriously looking into updating our management software with the Clarity package. I’ve downloaded the trial version and have been unable to get it to run.

I’ve spoken with the Clarity technical department who so far have been amazingly patient and incredibly helpful !! They’ve spent hours so far trying to get Clarity to work on my PC, but so far with no luck.

They’ve loaded the software databases onto our server and loaded the software on my PC, but my PC is having absolutely none of it !! When you double-click on the desktop icon the ‘little circle timer thingy’ appears for a second then just disappears …. then absolutely nothing.

I’m running Windows 7 (Home Premier edition) with more than enough memory etc. I was just wondering whether anyone else has had any issues and whether you managed to solve the problem ?

We had the same or similar issue a few years back, they kept trying and trying to sort it out but we gave up in the end shame as I personally really liked the program.

Hi Dave, thanks for that idea. I have actually managed to run it by remote linking to our server and running it from there …. not ideal though.

Hi Gareth. That’s a real shame it didn’t work for you either. Like I mention above I have managed to run it from our server and it looks like it could do all we need, but we really do need it to run on all our PC’s or we’re not really any further forward.
