I’ve used it gazz, find it pretty good to apply though i haven’t cut or weeded it. It also applies really well in cold weather – handy this time of year

Thanks Lorraine, just my local supply company here in Grimsby is a stockist and he speaks highly of it, I just thought i would get some feedback from the group if poss before i tried it. I will be trying it though!
And thanks for the tip about Mathias for the blades, got two in this mornings post on approval. Things are looking good!
Cheers

to be fair i have “not” used lg vinyl gazza.
what i have heard though isnt great.. like lorraine said. it may well be good to apply in the cold but applying is only one part. how it stays put, shrinks or reacts to sunlight etc comes next.
im sure i there maybe a couple of threads on this vinyl. maybe best try a search on it here on the boards.like i said, i havent used it mate. 🙄

Thanks for your reply too Rob, just done a search and cannot find a good word about it at all? strange? oh well, as i said i will give it a try and see how it goes. I will be doing some test samples myself on various substrates with various vinyls as i want to see myself how they react over time and how easy they are applied. A few of the posts mentioned an applicator demo, is there one now or has anyone done a demo, i had a quick scan but didn’t see one.?

Hi guys, I used this vinyl last year and did’nt rate it at all, it did’nt weed well or come the backing properly and the adhesive is crap! I would never
use it again. We still have 25 metres of it left.

Like Bob says, the formulation has been changed. That’s one good thing about LG, they listen to their customers and react to comments fairly quickly and the new stuff is a vast improvement on the old.
However, be aware that there is still a lot of old stock out there and if you are ordering make sure that you specify LG7000 “PLUS”
