  • Anybody do these plastic engraved signs ???

Posted by Sparky on 16 September 2003 at 16:07

    As per the header !

I assume it’s still called engraving, but I think the material is 2 sheets of different coloured plastics bonded together. The engraver rips out the top layer !

Got a pic i can email if anybody can help.

    Thanks

all you need is an engraver that will engrave using an engraving laminate.
they come in tons of colours etc..

i would imagine most engravers if not all use these daily.

    brass/blackfoam/silver
    white/black/white
    red/white/red
and so on and so on..
also in marble effect etc the list goes on.

just state to the engraver to use this type of material. its very cheap and easy to engrave. most are anyway.. 😉

    Sparky mate,

Must of missed this post mate, sorry 😳
Yeah we do engraving on laminates (2 and 3 core) in various colours as Rob mentioned. We only work with the Rowmark laminates as we find they are the best available.

If you still need any help you know where to get hold of me.

    Andy
