Office depot looks a bit like Rockwell, Next looks like a million and one fonts and has probably been mucked about with. If you’re doing Kosher work for them can’t they supply artwork?

Both of these came from the relevant websites media sections. They were bmp/jpg originally but I used keiths magic wand/selection to paths technique to make them .ai’s.

They aren’t perfect,, but they are damn close, and you can fiddle with them if you aren’t happy with them.

Pleasure, it really is quite a simple technique, but can be really effective if you’ve got a decent size/res raster image to work from.

Maybe there should be a demo of it on the boards?

::edit – on second thoughts I would imagine the tracing ability of Illustrator would give very similar results as I’m sure that all the options that photoshop has available are prob also in Illustrator somewhere. If only I had the time to learn these programs properly I’m sure life would be much easier.
