Antalis UK, the leading distributor of paper, packaging solutions and visual communication products, is now stocking the entire range of Drytac’s films and adhesives following the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement between the two companies. The new partnership sees Antalis handle the 50-strong Drytac portfolio, which provides a choice of up to six widths of its film and adhesive products. Antalis can now combine deliveries of Drytac signage solutions, including its ViziPrint, WindoTac and Protac materials and have them delivered alongside other products including foamboard, inkjet consumables, packaging products and office paper stock.

As ISO 14001-accredited company and Carbon Trust Standard holder, Antalis works continuously to improve its ecological impact. By combining deliveries with other Antalis products, this distribution agreement enables both companies to further reduce their environmental footprint. Manufactured in the UK, all Drytac products now arrive at the Antalis headquarters in Coalville ahead of shipping to regional branches from which they are added to existing Antalis delivery routes. This has significantly reduced the high number of shorter trips formerly undertaken by Drytac to deliver its product to customers.

The partnership between the two companies has also facilitated the sharing of both companies’ in-depth market knowledge and facilitating the development of new innovative products to respond to customer demand.
Mick Crook, Antalis Product Manager for Sign and Display, said: “We now offer one of the most comprehensive ranges of sign and display products to our customers. Furthermore, by having a good understanding of our customer needs, we can now work closely with the Drytac team to help in the development of new products, in particular printable adhesive materials, where we can see there is a strong demand.”

Hayden Kelley, Managing Director of Drytac Europe, added “We are ploughing capital into developing new products to help our customers in the sign and display markets achieve the best possible margins.” Kelley, who secured the Antalis partnership in his first year at the helm of Drytac Europe, also said that the deal had been “nothing but positive” and will help to raise the manufacturer’s profile.
