I have just started a new job that requires me to print the plates that are riveted onto an industrial fence, the company has bought a annapurna xl that is in a sorry condition.

the media they have bought in is a sheet metal with whit plastic laminate over the top. My previous employment was running an annapurna m and can remember sometimes having problems with the finish not been hardwearing on some media. I printed a sample and found that the print scratches off very easily. The printer does require new heads and we are changing the uv lamps, maybe the ink is not curing properly?

does anyone have any advice on what would be the best way to increase the durability of the print?

Which inkset is it? We are using AGFA G2.
I have an Anapurna M2050, it might print the laminate but it will be trial and error

wer using the nazdar lyson 7300 if anyone has any experience with this inkset?

im hoping the xl isn’t going to be a nightmare to keep running, looking around the internet it seems to be a very unreliable machine.
