you could try Gooding Aluminium 020 8692 2255, 020 8469 0031 fax
http://www.goodingalum.com, they do perforated aluminium & can offer wet spray or powder coat -
Hi Lorraine,
Why not buy the sheet of ali’ locally and paint it yourself ?
I find that powder coated is not as good as people think, it chips very easily and can never be touched up without being seen. -
Hi Lorraine,
Amari Plastics are a national, company so you may find a branch quite nearby, they did stock 1mm aluminium last year (white faced).
They are definitely worth a try, hope it works out..

Almost Brian, well the thought process anyway as the job hasn’t been approved yet…
Got a good price for a sheet of 1mm ali cut to size (with off cuts) Will proberbly just laminate it with white vinyl if it goes ahead.
Mike, never thought of Armari, we use them for other stuff, but i myself haven’t used them before so wasn’t aware they could supply that, may still give them ago!

Lorraine, Amari plastics do a product called signicolour which is ally on one side and powdercoated on the other, I use it in 1.5mm but I think they do it at other thicknesses.

I’d use Ashby’s for something like that Lorraine. They can even cut to any shape you want it, you only need supply an ai file of the outline.

Andy, Lorraine says she tried Ashby but they couldn’t help. I don’t understand why ‘cos only a few weeks ago I had some ~1mm white face aluminium from them and they didn’t say it was anything special ??
