    Hi all,
    another plea for help!
I have been asked to supply two small signs, one saying “reception” & one saying “toilet”. The problem is the customer has asked that they be compliant with the new disability regulations. Now I’ve searched on the net and this site but cannot come up with any definative answers other than
“clear, easily readable text” “contrasting colours” and “braille” is there a set layout for these type of signs now and is it available on the web anywhere?
Alternatively is there a company specialising in production of such signs that I could sub the job out to?

Most of my work is vehicle graphics and fascia signs so I’ve not run into this problem before but my hunch is that this is gonna be an ever more common requirement so I’d like to get up to speed with the rules & regs

    Cheers
    Paul

Paul, if you’re in Westcliff on Sea in essex then you have one of the biggest and best suppliers of DDA compliant signage right on your doorstep – North Essex Signs in Colchester, their Clearline brand is readily available and they carry standard signs like the ones you need in stock. Their number is 01206 843200.

    Good luck
