    Hi all,
First big thanks to everyone on here, it’s so great to have a fountain of knowledge at your finger tips 😀 😀 😀 it’s been a god send.

Anyway to the help part, it’s the first time i’ve come across a logo that has a black outline around the letters with a white infill. It’s to be applied to hi-vis clothing, i know the green cannot be faded and have told then this which is fine.
What i’d like to know from the all knowing is whats the best way to approach this…

    Many many thanks

    Nige

Nigel if you have told the customer the green can’t be faded then that’s not true as it could be printed. Realise you can’t do that in house yet but you could buy the prints in.
Obviously a difference in cost doing it that way so give the customer the option with 2 different prices.

Don’t do clothing myself so not sure if you can layer textile vinyl but if it were for a sign or vehicle I would just build it up in layers if using solid colour vinyl,

    HI Nigel.

You can build it up using flock, Ive never done it myself but have seen a local guy do it here.

It is easy to layer Heat Transfer materials, although some work better than others. As aforementioned Flock would work, or there are some great films from Siser that can be layered easily.
You can either dot he black layer first and white ontop, or just cut the outline and make sure you line up the 2 layers accurately.
Digital print would also obviously be an ideal option, as to ensure colour matching, the fade and combined black and white!
    Hope that helps
