Both fine, no issues..
The main issue is enough work to warrant having one. My personal view is waiting for the customer to walk in, spend time looking at the image they’re want on the top, explaining about why a soft feel t shirt is better than an other brand.etc. Isn’t worth the £15 you might get for the 30+ mins you have to spend on the project. Then another 15 mins cleaning time at the end of the day.
On the other hand, if you have a portfolio of ready made designs that you sell at markets or eBay, then yes it can be worthwhile if you create a production line of shirt treating, printing and pressing.
Heads at £500 a pop must be planned for, for some reason they seem to go through them a lot. White ink is the problem, a cmyk machines should be trouble free, but people want black t shirts…
