    HI everyone

I have a toyota hilux pick up the new 2008 model single cab.

I plan to wrap it in matt black and then put my bright green logo on top. I think it is going to look very nice.

Unfortunately i dont have access to many choices in cast vinyl.

The only options i can get locally are Avery 800 series and Oracal 751

the 900series and the 951 have to be imported from Germany specially for me. This is going to cost me too much as i will have to end up taking the full roll and pay for airfreight.

So i know that the job is possible with both materials. I have never worked with 752 before i only every use 651 on a daily basis. I have used the 800 series before. I have wrapped bumpers with the 800 series. And it has lasted very well.

Both the vinyls look very close on the data sheet except the 751 is 55micron and the 800 series is 50micron.

What vinyl would you prefer to use if you were in the same predicament as i was.

At least it is the company vehicle so we can keep and eye on any problems ie lifting etc and fix it immediately.

    Thanks for you advice.

i would go for the avery 800 series, have used it myself with a matt wrap, bit hard to handle (arent they all though! 😀 )

but it done the job perfect for me, just ensure a good ambient temperature before fitting.

    hope that helps

ok i think that may be the better option then. at least i have used the material before.
i was worried that the 751 may not be as good. couldn’t really tell from the data.

    Thanks
