use the spent card cores from your vinyl rolls.

    55p doesnt sound expensive…
have you tried Robert Horne Group as they do a huge range of packaging products.

I was going to say I’d send you my empty cores. I have hundreds of the things and keep them as sometimes I use them for packaging, but I realised I probably couldn’t even post them to you for that money!

Rob is bang on though. I get the plastic end caps that fit them from a local packing supplies company, and I have a heavy duty stapler to seal them in.

question: in UK do you have to pay extra fees to packet transport company in order to send tubes compared to "standard" long packet (like vinyl rolls packaging)?

Here in France at : +6€ for tubes. Claimed reason: non standard package and difficult to handle in warehouses… 😥 🙄

size is the biggest thing with me on this, the tubes from vinyl is only 610mm and then insert the end caps and you can’t even get an A1 print in it 😕

I still use them though and have never bought a tube before, cut down 4′ ones when needed too, threw about 50 away a few weeks back as they were taking over my workshop 😛

Sorry to go off topic, but… what vinyl do you use for the wall art? My other half wants me to make her a wall quote, will normal Avery vinyl do the job?

    Cheers,
