  • advice on printed window sticker?

    Hi

I’m quoting for a job at a local rail musium and need to price printing 3 window stickers approx 13″ X 12.5″ (inches) onto clear.

They are a photo of a badge on a painted background but it also includes white, the sticker has to allow some light through as well.

Can anyone suggest how I do this ( I have a Cadet)?

I thought of using white static cling as that would give a simular effect but these get cleaned, touched etc so need to be stuck onto the window.

I’ll attach a picture in show us you stuff.

    Thanks
    Steve

you couldn’t print it on white translucent? That will allow the light, but give you the opacity to hold the colour

    just a thought

Print reverse on clear , with crop marks , then hand or machine overlam the print with a white transluscent , use a stanly knife to remove the white over the cropmarks , relaod into the machine and die cut around the white etc . Stick on the inside of window and you will have a print that shows perfectly from the outside , is slightly transluscent inside and will withstand all manner of abuse and has white where you need it

Thanks Shane & Rodney. Translusent, never thought of that, such a simple solution 😳

The sticker has to be seen from the inside so I’ll not need to use the clear step Rodney.

Thanks for the replys guys, I’ll get some and try a few samples.
