    Hi All,

But things looking up after meeting lovely new lady that has cheered me up no ends. Just one thing bugging me now, I have a grenadier print n cut machine, getting old now but still works fine, excpet just lost the left side of my cyan print head… to save money as thing are tight is thje print head easy to replace myself, is there anything that might make it hard.

Has anyone fitted a new head by theyre selfs?

    Kind regards from
    Mark Brown 😀

Hi Mark. Sorry to hear of your woes, and I’m glad things are picking up for you.

The printhead isn’t that difficult to replace if you know what way to hold a screwdriver, but get it wrong and you could cause serious damage to other components of the printer, such as a mainboard. I’m not just trying to scare you but it DOES happen. I would make sure you have exhausted all other options first. As Dave says, make sure it’s not just a faulty cartridge, damper or blocked ink line before going for the electrical assumption. Once you’ve tried that, post up again.

If you get stuck, look me up and I’ll talk you through some options….

    Stafford
