  • Advice on Insurance please?

Hi all, i have just renewed my working from home policy with AXA going direct to them instead of though a broker (which is what i have done for the last 14 years.) Apart from it being over £200 cheaper, i also looked for the first time at all the small print.

To be covered for theft any electronic item over £2,500 must be securely anchored to desk or structure of the building.

To comply with this has anyone any ideas on how to secure a graphtec plotter and a VP300 Roland? neither have any points at which to attach a chain short of wrapping it around the main part any removing every day to use.

Any bright ideas would be very welcome thanks jean

some kind of L shape bracket screwed to the outside of the case and then to the the surface it’s sat on maybe?

Or take the outer case off and see if there is anywhere you could drill a couple of holes to screw through and screw fix to the bench ??

Hi thanks but both machines are on stands not on bench, also would drilling holes invalidate any warranty on the machines?
