    Hi All,

I’m new here so be gentle :lol1:

Right, I have a track car, and I would like to make something like this:

Right my track car is black, and i was thinking about using medium gray and maybe a dark gray (anthracite)

Now I’m trying to think of an easy way of making this on the plotter… or is it a lengthy task of designing each individual piece myself 😮

I’m not really going to do it as a wrap, I am thinking about just pulling it off the backing paper and sticking it on, but its just making the blocks I’m struggling to think of how to make

It looks quite easy to redraw that camo pattern as it only really uses rectangles, just draw a certain size area and repeat it.

get a picture of normal camo of the net and do a really bad vector of it, use the auto trace functions and I’m sure you’ll get something bad like that (bad pixels to make good digital camo 😉 :lol1: )

Suppose i could just draw random lines that join up that way I don’t waste vinyl.

I would say pick a small area and try to copy it by layering different sized rectangles and welding them together if you look at one black piece of the pattern you could break it down into a number of rectangles joint together.

Post some photos up when it’s finished

If you create a few smaller parts and use step and repeat to cover a larger area you could then over lay onto a template of your car and delete away parts and change the colour of parts until you happy. This way you can build it up or down as it were until your happy
