  • Advice on an equivlent to mac-Tac 9800

Posted by RayRosher on 31 May 2010 at 00:00

Hi Guys been using Mac-Tac 9800 and Macfleet for a little while now, The problem for me at the moment is that I’m getting requests for more Girly colors, If you know what I mean.

The 9800 range are a little limited in what they have color wise
So I was wondering if anyone uses anything as good as or maybe better than the Mac-Tac9800, With a better color range,,,, Any advice gratefully accepted.

Ray, I used Mactac for many years but they fell down on the customer service from the supplier.
Anyway, I moved over to Hexis and what a revelation.
Absolutely beautiful to weed, supplies direct from Hexis, not an intermediate, and their colours were originally based on the Mactac range – then developed.
They provide a direct comparison chart for all the Mactac/Hexis matches.
Have a look online for their complete catalogue. http://www.hexis.co.uk

Hi Peter, Which of the Hexis vinyls would you say was equivalent to the Mactac 9800 range as I might be interested in giving them a try.

    Cheers John

John, Suptac S5000 is the direct comparison to Mactac 9800 Pro.

Ray, can’t do PM’s as not a member.
