    Evening all

Been having a read through the forums on vehicle wrapping and Ive got a question, can the printer above be used to print on vinyl in preperation to wrap to a car? If so, what material can I use to print on?

I bought the printer for a canvas printing business I have and I also use it for printing posters, I have a vinyl cutter, but was wondering if I could go one step further and use it for printing on vinyl?

Any help would be much appreciated

I would love to be in the position to get a wider format printer than this, but Im not in the position yet to put a few thousand into the business for wrapping

    Cheers folks

    Neil

    Hi Neil

If it’s not a solvent or eco solvent printer then the answer is NO. You can get vinyl for the printer but is not conformable vinyl and only suitable for flat surfaces and has a limited outdoor life.

    cheers

It has the ultrachrome inks in it

Any ideas of a good solvent printer in a cheap price bracket?
