    What printer do you have?

The IP address will be for the local network, not the internet. Everything from your router will have a unique IP.

Most devices like pc’s, laptop, tablet don’t need a static (it doesn’t change) ip address, whilst servers, network printers, and most shared devices its better to set a static ip that doesn’t change.
The IP for the printer is usually set on the printer, using the menu, in versaworks you then enter the IP address for the printer, so versaworks knows where to look on the network.

    Hope that helps.
