    Hi there!

This is my first go on this site so please bear with me!!

I have just been given a Summa D60, it has signlab 7 but no dongle!

Any advice on how to get up and running.

    Thank you 😀

Buy a dongle or cut from coral.
You can download the winplot from the summa website.

If it’s a genuine version of signlab then cadlink might sell you a dongle for it but it won’t be cheap, Robert paid a lot of money to replace one he had lost.
You might be better off buying a different program like corel to get yourself up and running unless you have deep pockets.

I just had a replacement dongle for £105 inc VAT. I got mine through simon stanley at lettering systems unlimited.

To get a replacement you need the original,

the dongle on its own is in effect the lisence for the program, so it will probably cost the same as a new program 🙁

Ask the person for the SignLab dongle. Perhaps it was merely overlooked and left connected to the previous computer. Most likely it was a USB dongle plugged into back of computer. Otherwise, it would have been a parallel port "pass thru" dongle.

If the person is unable to provide you with dongle, then you’ll need to contact CADlink Sales.
