  • Advice needed on wrapping the rear of a van?

    Hi

I am wanting some advice on wrapping part of the rear doors on a combo van. I have some questions:

Max time the wrap would stay on is 3 – 12 months

It would be a full colour solvent print wrap

    1. Does it need to be laminated?
    2. On the combo van there are some deep recesses, what is the best way to deal with these?
    3. Does anyone know of a good YouTube video I can watch for this.
    4. When you remove the vinyl is the paint work ok under neath.
    5. Which fluid is best to clean off the vinyl glue left over from old vinyl lettering?

    Thanks for your help.

I will be honest Jonathon, based purely on the questions you are asking. I would advise you not to take on this work unless sub contracting an experienced wrapper to do this for you.

There is nothing wrong with being a new comer and wanting to learn. but put in the practice first before you ever consider charging a customer for your services. Not only will you be short changing your customer, but not doing your reputation any favours.
