  • Advice needed on Solvent printing on Wallpaper?

Posted by David Boden on 16 September 2013 at 14:09

Hello, I am new to this side of the business..
We have a Mimaki JV33 and have recently started doing tests, with the intention of printing wallpaper.
Basically is it safe to print wallpaper for home, bedrooms etc.. using SS21 solvent inks?
    All advice and information welcome
    Thanks

Absolutely. Once the solvent outgasses / evaporates in your workshop it’s as safe as any other print to handle, sniff or lick should the desire take you.

In a domestic setting I’d be inclined to leave a few days from print to supply.
