I use the cheap one from Grafityp with the cross stitching or what ever it’s called. Never had a problem or comeback.

Thanks, just reminded me that I used the last of mine up recently…
Not tried Grafityp, may give it a go, unless there are other recommendations?….

I haven’t used the Grafityp tape, but if it has the cross weave in it like you say, it might be the same as one i used last Christmas and i found it very good.
sorry i am being very vague but the tape was supplied to me by another sign company so i don’t know exactly what it was but the cross weave was something i noticed, hence my reply. 😀I used to use a Tesa tape on banners which were excellent and never failed me.
Via RHG, i switched to Oracal own brand of double-sided tape as it was a fair bit cheaper and equally as good a product, and due to always buying vinyls in i would get rolls of the tape included in the delivery, so delivery was free also. 😀
In the past couple of weeks, i have had my VHB tape supplier in showing me a new 3M tape for banners which i am going to give a go.
when buying these tapes and comparing prices be careful you are comparing like for like. "most" d-sided tapes are 25m long but some are 50m rolls. so although may look a fair bit more expensive your actually getting double the amount.
