  • Advice needed on purchasing a New Roland Cutter?

Posted by Ian Swain on 19 April 2015 at 10:05

    Hi,

I fully intend to upgrade my cutter this week from my cheap chinese liyu 630 (which I might add has served me well..ish)

to a ‘proper’ cutter, the new Roland GS-24.

Has anybody had any experience yet with one of these?

i’ve seen the Roland promo’s but no ‘actual user vids’

    cheers

    ian

Roland cutters are very good, one of the best cutters I have used actually.
I haven’t used one in a number of years as i use Graphtec these days for cutting vinyl. but I have been a Roland user for most of my sign making career and would highly recommend to anyone. Thats cut vinyl and/or Printing.
I would suggest printMAX as they are official suppliers to the UKSG and have won many awards as a Roland distributor.
