  • Advice needed on Garment Transfer please?

Posted by John Bolt on 10 December 2011 at 23:03

Probably seen post like many a time, but I have looked through old post haven’t found answer. Basically need a dark garment transfer using a small Epson with sublimation ink and then being able to cut out. I have used some before but not that impress, I know DTG are the way to go but I’m not at that point to invest that amount of money.
How long do they last any more than a year? Oh and using a heat press.
Hope someone could point me in right direction, seems quite a few out there.
    many thanks

I’m familiar with sublimation flock but not seen the transfers, how does this compare to inkjet dark

EXACTLY the same as injet dark mate.
John Wilson gave me some dye sub transfers ages back and they were some of the best I had used. not sure where to get them now but a google search should do it, if you do get some dont worry about how dark they appear to start with the heat really brings out the colour and brightens it all up
