  • Advice, Bonding flat panels to Brick?

    Hi Guys,
We’ve been having some issues with panels that we’ve fitted falling off walls.
Our fitter used to just use DST, but after being recommended by someone I suggested he should always apply some tech 7 to make sure nothing was going to come down. we’ve had a few fall down since but I doubt there was Tech 7 on them as I’ve heard the stuff is almost impossible to remove.
Any thoughts on this or other methods of fixing such panels without screws or visible fixings?
Many thanks for your signage wisdom.
    Noel

Screw a panel to the wall (any old crap / old sign.

    Bond your sign to it.

If your looking to avoid visible fastening through the face of a sign then something like Big Head fasteners would do the trick, or you could always try and upsell a bit and talk the customers into having a sign tray.

im not a fan of these sort of jobs. customer stipulates the world and expects to pay minimum for your efforts. then when it falls, we re blamed… anyway…

as martin says, ide use BIG HEAD fixings or some other type of threaded rod system.
easy sorted using a pan/tray type sign. better looking having a bit of dimension than flat also.
