  • acrylic fitting, need help!

    Help got a panel of acrylic 3000mm x 750mm to put up onto a cladded factory, needs to be rasied off. Think its going to be to hard to use locators, anyone got any ideas (?)

    Could you use the stainless stand-offs like the these – http://www.e-shopfittings.com/display2. … =SFittings

    Or failing that, just use a couple of runs of 2″ alu angle along the long length and two more fixed to the building, then screw through from the top and bottom.

    I’d go with Nigels idea of a couple of bits of ali angle

    Something like this i would use a frame..perspex expands and contracts quite a bit and is brittle.
    Or go for the metal type panels (luca bond) spayed to match.
