a pal of my oldest Son is in a rock band called Ventrinity – I”ve not heard of them either!

Still, lad sends me a file, simple quick trace in corel X5 and it was done, in all honest I didn’t know what it said until he sent another proposed logo for something else, I assumed it was some horrible font so, was quite surprised when he told be he’d designed it himself in about 6hours…. wow, that’s a long time I thought….. however, I was very impressed when he pointed out that it reads exactly the same way upside down (rotate 180°) as looking at it here!

while it’s not the most legible, I think it’s very clever and possibly the most impressed I’ve been with a customers artwork!

Certainly good for a DIY and the more it’s seen the more recognisable it’ll become. Good insight too and full marks for creativity.

    Rock on…. !!! 😀 😀 😀

It’s called an Ambigram. Something that reads in either direction, and can be generated easily with free software. It became famous in one of Dan Browns books, Angels and Demons………………
