    I have a sign pal,
Dont know if yours is the same but there is an option to set the parameters for several different blades/media.
When you have set each one you can just choose which setting you need.

    Al,
it is set on the machines control panel, But once set it is possible to choose from the set up int the cutting software (in signlab anyway)Mine is a signplal ultra 1360.
I will have to fire it up later to see how its done I dont remember from memory, the machine is now a backup, and I havn’t used it for a while.
its burried so it will take a bit of time to dig out,
Perhaps one of the suppliers will but in and help before I can?

The control panel is different on the Lynx compared to your Ultra Peter.

Alan you should have the blade showing no more than 1 or 2mm out of the blade holder. Also the minimum pressure on that machine is around 75gms so if you are using a new blade then you use the minimum pressure setting.

Have you printed the manual off yet???
    😀

    Alan,

No reason to use superweed unless it’s a large piece of work that needs weeding and you are on your own and new to doing it.

If you need a little telephone tutiton / support then I will be happy to help.

    Alan,
Are you able to view the increments on machine or computer as you are increasing?
I have an older lynx and can’t actually ‘see’ what the pressure is until I use a small program with it that allows me to see it on the computer…forget the name, but it’s fairly small and I’m sure I’ve got it somewhere if you need it.

Hi Alan …… the pm facility is only available to UKSG members.

To see if you have mail / pm msg off member …. check at the top of the page above “Search the boards” box and next to Profile, Board Rules, FAQ etc. and you will see that it should say you have 1 message ….. or something along those lines??
