A Printer that prints onto almost anything?
I thought i would post this hear after being tagged in it on FB.
Just wondering what others initial thoughts are on this?$this->BBvideo_pass(‘$8’, ‘$4’, ‘$7’)
First thoughts for me was "very clever" and a great idea!
I actually have a project coming up where this would be an excellent tool to have handy.They vary in models, abilities and prices, starting around £1500 up to £4300 for the model shown in the video.
It pretty much looks like a print head levitated by the little roll wheels. I imagine it must be more like a paint-jet rather than ink as i cant see inks adhering to as many substrates as paint would. but thats just me guessing…
anyway, interesting tool and another glimpse of how diverse things are going within our industry.

Seen this yesterday and suitably impressed, obviously a crucial piece of equipment to make some people jobs easier.
The one thing I couldn’t stop it reminding me of was the circa 10 year old sci fi movies that would have authorities branding/barcoding the general population to keep track of them lol

I think i saw it print on a garment/fabric in that video. There could be many uses for this printing on garments, such as Slogans etc. Especially at all kinds of live events. You could print race competitor numbers onto t shirts, or you could print phrases onto t shirts at festivals.
