The office computer has just died, ok it was at least 3 years old.

The young lad who sorts ours out, saved everything off the HD and then reformatted it after a few trys to save it…

Busy installing all the software again – All is going really well, ( for me thats a first as computers hate me) installing the embroidery software again, and it asks for a install code…

Its not the normal security code that most software’s have, but it seems that i can only install it on 1 computer, if i put it on a new computer after say it breaks, we have to pay £200 for a new code…

Whats all that about, cadlink let me install on how every many computers I want, ok I can only use it on 1 at a time as i only have 1 dongle etc. The embroidery software also has a dongle so I can`t see the problem. just another way of getting more money. Not a Happy bunny.

On a plus side, a young Irish lad comes in and asks for a t shirt, he can`t decide on what colour writing for it, he goes from, black to blue to yellow, we settle on red. 2 seconds after leaving the show he comes back in and says he`ll have it in this colour and hands me a ripped up piece of clean paper…….. " you mean white " i said………. yes please. LOL

    Hi Dave

Its the same comp just reformatted.

From memory I think this has happened before ( we have had the software for 10 years, so we must have had another computer in that time)

Why Denise?? I am still using a computer that I have had for over 10 years, Replaced a few bits over the years but it’s still the same machine.

I’ve also got a computer case that is about 8 years old, maybe more. Not much of what’s inside it is original, in fact probably just the on button, case lights, & maybe the 31/2 inch floppy. :lol1: :lol1:
